Glossary

Cursillo was originally a Spanish movement and many of the terms used within the Cursillo community are therefore of Spanish origin, but even some those that are not need a little extra explanation in this context.

Cursillo	A short course in living Christianity, lasting three days.
Evangelisation	Any step or action to bild up the kingdom of God
Environment	Any grouping of poeple that comprises society
Group Reunion	Also known as a friendship group, this is a group from the same parish or area who meet regularly to share their lives as Christians and their evangelising efforts
Environmental Group Reunion	A group of Christinas from the same environment (using the Cursillo method of Grouping) who meet on a regular basis to share their lives as Christians and their combined efforts to evangelise the environment they are in.
Palanca	The prayers, sacrefices and works of mercy of some Christians, done individually or communally for the conversion of others.
Ultreya	The monthly gathering of friendship groups (and those not presently in a group) to link them together as an evangelising community.
